Bar Humbug across the road from King Street Backpackers offers great bar meals in a friendly atmosphere where you can relax with your mates.

Pugg Mahones is a lively Irish bar just a short 10 minute walk from the hostel. On a Monday night they host a Backpackers night with specials prices for drinks and live music.

The Workshop is a venue situated about 10 minutes from King Street Backpackers where they play great music every night of the week and the chic new bar with an open deck provides a fantastic view over the city.

One of the best known bars in Melbourne is The Lounge. With a good beat and funky lay back atmosphere it is an excellent venue within 15 minutes walk from the hostel.
