Melbourne Aquarium showcases a collection of over 10000 exotic marine animal’s everyday of the year. The indoor ocean aquarium is open from 9.30am until 6.00pm daily with last admission at 5.00pm. We recommend you allow at least 2.5hrs to enjoy everything this state of the art facility has to offer visitors. Located on the corner of Flinders and King Street Melbourne it is only 5 blocks south from King Street Backpackers. You can experience the Melbourne Aquarium's wonders from a different angle by taking a tour over the 2.2 million litre indoor ocean aquarium in a glass bottom boat or you may be content strolling through the underwater arcades observing the marine environment from below the waterline.
